The Eagles School Pupils Stroke Play Championship was played over 36 Holes at the Chisholm Park Links on Monday the 17th of October.
A field of 47 boys and 4 girls entered the event with Thomas Facer taking the title on a score of 146 with rounds of 77 & 69.
The tournament doubles as qualifying rounds for The Otago Schoolboys and Girls Match Play Championships, scheduled to follow the Eagles tournament on 18th and 19th of October.
Unfortunately, the weather deteriorated badly overnight, following the stroke play rounds and the following two days of match play had to abandoned due to course conditions.
This also meant the postponement of the Junior Triangular fixture with Aorangi and Southland, set down for Thursday the 20th of October.
The Match Play Champs and The Triangular will now be played in early December.
