CHAMPIONS OF OTAGO 2016 – SUNDAY 21ST AUGUST
at BALCLUTHA GOLF CLUB
The Champions of Otago is a competition to find the “Champion Club” in the province.
Who can enter?
Every club is invited to enter one team of three players, comprising your three current club champions. In most cases this will be your Senior, Intermediate and Junior Champion.
However, for smaller clubs who may only have two grades of club championships, you are welcome to enter the runner-up in your second grade along with the two winners.
The important thing is that your club is represented! If your winners cannot attend please send the runner-up. If runner-up cannot attend then a semi-finalist, top (or highest available) qualifier etc is better than your club not being present!
18 holes Stableford, teeing off at 11.00am. Two competitions, your team is automatically in both.
- CHAMPIONSHIP GRADE.
No handicaps for gross stableford. Winning club is calculated on total gross stablefords of the three cards.
- HANDICAP GRADE.
Stableford calculated using normal course handicap. Winning club is calculated on total stablefords of the three cards.
Winning clubs in both divisions receive a wall plaque as the Champion Club of 2016, plus each player receives an engraved trophy to commemorate their win.
How to enter.
Fill in the entry form, sent to your club Secretary and return to Executive Officer to arrive no later than Thursday 11th August.
